6. Do your best to disconnect from work when you aren’t there. Consider removing work email access from your phone/personal devices, avoiding conversations surrounding work concerns, and actively living in the moment at home with your loved ones. Of course, there will be times when disconnecting is not possible, so in these instances, try to limit your extra work down to a few easily-completed tasks or set a time limit (and follow it strictly).
7. Bring calming or comforting things into the office. This can be pictures of loved ones or pets, a lotion with a relaxing scent, a book for your lunch break, your favorite coffee beans or breakfast, etc. Anything that can bring you comfort and peace withoutdistracting your coworkers.
