Cheer on the Miners at Faculty and Staff Night
Score a prize for your department!
Come to Missouri S&T's Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night on Thursday, Feb. 22, for a night of Miners basketball. The women's game starts at 5:30 p.m. and the men's game starts at 7:30 p.m. This night is to show appreciation to all S&T faculty and staff, with special recognition given to faculty and staff champions, who are trained point-of-contacts for mental well-being support.
Student Affairs Division is holding a friendly competition to see which Student Affairs department can have the highest percentage of employees attend, sitting together as a group at the game. The winning department will receive a special prize! Wear your Miner spirit gear the whole day, and please send a photo of your work group (in the office, at the game, or both!) to stuaff@mst.edu.
Don't forget to bring your families along for this special night of free admission for S&T employees' families, wear your Miner spirit attire, and come cheer on the Miners!

ACUHO Benchmarking Survey results for Res Life
by Jessica Lane, Residential Life
"I like that I am able to live like an adult without having the pressures of owning my own place. It is also really fun being in a community of individuals like me." -Anonymous student response.
Residential Life recently participated in the Association of College and University Housing Officers (ACUHO) Benchmarking Survey that provides feedback from their residents. High scores were achieved in students' satisfaction with custodial staff, student hall staff performance, and satisfaction of safety in the hall room. Along with pointing towards top highlights, the survey also provides goal areas for improvement next year. Residential Life staff are excited to have this information to work with.
