Welcome back! I hope your summer was spent enjoying time with family, friends or even your fellow coworkers. I am pleased to begin this new year serving as your Staff Council president. I want to introduce you to your Staff Council executive committee and committee chairs.
Staff Council executive committee:

- Vice president: Dr. Greg Edwards, senior strategic communications consultant for marketing and communications
- Secretary: Chyna Howell, senior program manager for the Student Success Center
- Treasurer: Jeanette Waters, business support specialist for student involvement
- Past president: Kevin Walkup, program manager for the Military and Veterans Service Center.

- Chair: Austin Wall, expert support systems administrator for information technology

The 2025–26 Staff Council meetings will have a new structure designed to increase transparency about our work and ongoing projects.
All are invited to join the monthly meetings, which are held on the second Thursday of each month. We look forward to representing staff and working toward a successful year at Missouri S&T.
