Missouri S&T now has Narcan available for free to all S&T students and employees who request it. Through the work of the S&T Prevention Coalition, student well-being and University Police, students and employees can pick up Narcan from the student well-being office, 204 Norwood Hall, during normal business hours.
This program is consistent with other University of Missouri System campuses and Missouri’s statewide Get MO Naloxone campaign. Narcan is an FDA approved, over the counter, life-saving medication designed to rapidly reverse opioid overdose. Narcan will be given judgement free, anonymously (personal information will not be collected), and will come with directions on how and when to use it.

3. Do not overcommit and learn to say no. We have all heard this before, but make sure to continue saying no when you need to.
4. Make your health and well-being a priority, even at work. This includes getting enough sleep, eating nutritious foods, consistently drinking enough water throughout the day, taking breaks throughout the day, moving your body and getting away from your desk, and making time for your hobbies and personal care needs!
5. Openly talk about the importance of work-life balance to encourage others to make it a priority. Share tips and ideas, and get new ideas as well. Talking about it in the workplace can ensure a system-wide change for the better.
