Back to the '90s at Staff Appreciation Day! 

Thursday, May 30, at the Havener Center, beginning at 9 a.m.

Kick off the celebration early with a campus-wide scavenger hunt from May 28-29 for THREE extra raffle tickets.

Staff Day will begin with an opening ceremony in St. Pat's Ballroom followed by fun activities, giveaways, a free BBQ-themed lunch, and more! Join in the fun for this all-day event.

Division of Student Success begins July 1 

On July 1, 2024, the Division of Student Affairs will merge with Undergraduate Education, a strategic integration designed to streamline student support services and curate a more holistic approach to student well-being and academic success.

Outstanding, well-done!

Members of S&T’s student well-being team recently attended Meeting of the Minds, an annual health, safety and well-being conference designed to help campus professionals address the critical health behaviors of university students. Many staff members presented at the conference and several went home with awards for Outstanding Professional, Outstanding Student/Peer Educator, and Outstanding Campus Program.

RESPOND Training offered by student well-being

Student well-being will present a University of Missouri System-licensed program, RESPOND, to train faculty and staff on how to recognize and provide initial assistance to people with mental health concerns. Attend one of two sessions on either Monday, June 17, or Monday, July 22. Both sessions will be held from 8:15 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in Toomey Hall, Room 256.

Please note that each session will cover the same content, so attending only one session is necessary. Registration is limited to 30 individuals per session.

Miner Welcome Bash Parent Panel invitation

Parent and Family Relations is hosting discussion panels for families of incoming Fall 2024 students at Miner Welcome Bash on June 15 and June 22. Staff Development Week begins Monday, May 20, and runs through Thursday, May 23. Staff from the University of Missouri campuses and resource representatives will lead sessions in professional and personal development. Topics include Microsoft Excel, saving for college, personal development, writing a novel, and meals on a budget and travel, and more.
