I hope this message finds you well and enjoying the summer sunshine!
As I write my final newsletter as president of the Staff Council, I can't help but feel a mix of emotions. It's been an incredible ride, and I owe so much of our success to all of you.
First and foremost, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the members of Staff Council. Your dedication, hard work and creativity have made this year remarkable. You’ve made me look good, but more importantly, you’ve made our university a better place to work.
A special shoutout goes to everyone involved in organizing our two Staff Appreciation Days. Your time and effort did not go unnoticed, and I genuinely believe our spring event was the best one yet! Who could forget that awesome ‘90s theme? From the nostalgic opening video to the fun games and outfits, it was a blast and a perfect example of the spirit and camaraderie that makes our campus so special.
I also want to take a moment to recognize the incredible staff members we have here at Missouri S&T. Your passion and dedication make me proud to say I work here. Whether you're behind the scenes or on the front lines, each of you contributes to making this university the outstanding institution it is.
As I step down, I am confident that Staff Council will continue to thrive and achieve great things. Thank you for the support, the laughs and the memories. It's been an honor to serve as your president.

Best wishes,
Jackie Sansone Staff Council President
