Staff Appreciation Day was a blast from the past! Staff Council hopes you enjoyed as much of the day as possible. Thank you again for your hard work and dedication this past year.

Ten honored at Staff Day awards ceremony
|
Ten staff members were honored for their contributions to the campus during the university’s Staff Appreciation Day celebration on Thursday, May 30.
Candidates for the awards were nominated by faculty, staff and students. The winners were selected based on their job performance, relationships with associates and dedication to Missouri S&T. Winners received a plaque and a gift presented by Cody Honse, assistant vice president of Legends Bank.

The University of Missouri System presents benefit-eligible staff who have reached milestones in their career with a certificate honoring their contributions, beginning with 5 years of service.

Walnofer clinches championship second year in a row
|
John Walnofer, senior media producer for marketing and communications, won the third annual Staff Day cornhole tournament. He received a $150 cash prize, courtesy of Cody Honse at Legends Bank, and the chance to play a game with Chancellor Mo Dehghani.
Staff Council would like to thank Honse and Walnofer for stepping in to make sure the cornhole tournament happened after a last minute cancelation. Thanks to the Rolla Lion’s Club and Legends Bank for the use of their cornhole boards.
