Dear friends,

Investigation with intention is the theme for research in Missouri S&T's College of Engineering and Computing, and our intention is to generate societal impact through cutting-edge applied and translational research.

This approach guides our development of the college’s research portfolio, as is evidenced by the talented faculty we hire and our investments in infrastructure.

Two of our college's important focus areas are resilient infrastructure and bioengineering. Both focus on research with clear implications for improving our everyday lives, and both have dedicated research centers where Missouri S&T researchers from multiple disciplines come together to solve big problems.

I encourage you to check out the articles below, which highlight some of this great work being conducted at Missouri S&T.

Sincerely,

Signed David Borrok
