Dear friends and supporters,

As we reflect on the past year, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude. This year marks a historic milestone for the Kummer Vanguard Scholars and Kummer Innovation and Entrepreneurship Doctoral Fellows as the first cohorts of these students transition into the next phase of their lives. Congratulations to the Class of 2025 — your dedication, resilience and achievements have set a high standard for future generations!

Since the launch of our student programs, our mission has been to support student engagement beyond the classroom and provide opportunities that prepare students for success after graduation. Over the past four years, we have fostered a dynamic environment where students have gained hands-on experience in high-impact programs, built connections with industry professionals and benefited from mentorship among peers and alumni.

It has been inspiring to see how students have embraced these opportunities to grow academically, professionally and personally. Our graduates have secured exciting opportunities in graduate schools, competitive job placements and entrepreneurial ventures, showcasing the value of involvement with Kummer Student Programs.

Our programs will continue to evolve to support student engagement beyond the classroom, and we are committed to providing students with enriching experiences that will prepare them for their future successes.

Thank you to the supporters: faculty, staff, alumni and partners of our programs who have played a vital role in shaping the success of our students. Your mentorship and dedication have been instrumental in their journey, and we deeply appreciate your contributions.

As we celebrate this momentous occasion, let us look forward to another year of possibilities, progress and success. Here’s to our students — past, present and future — who make Kummer Student Programs known for its support and cultivation of students' innovation and achievement!

With pride and appreciation,

Dr. Rachel Kohman
Director, Kummer Student Programs; Assistant Dean of Entrepreneurship Education
