Mining and Explosives Engineering

Newsletter

Dear alumni, friends and colleagues,

I am thrilled to touch base with you and share some news related to mining and explosives engineering at Missouri S&T. Over the past year, our department's students, faculty, staff and alumni have made amazing contributions to the university and the mining and construction industries.

A large part of our success can be credited to the fantastic support provided by our alumni. I have been impressed with the number of alumni who have volunteered all over Missouri and beyond to help us recruit over the past year. That effort has been fruitful with 19 new freshmen this fall, which is our largest recruiting class in years.

As a fellow alumnus, I am once again asking you to consider helping our students. As we continue to build this department, we still need your support to enrich student experiences through updated laboratories, conference trips and other activities that enhance learning.

Our annual Phonathon will start soon. Alumni should receive a phone call asking for support, but you can also give online through the link below at any time.
