In 1977, a group of Miners launched a new era of private support for Missouri S&T when they founded the Order of the Golden Shillelagh. Today the members of OGS continue to support the university through their leadership, service and philanthropic partnership.
Our award-winning OGS Weekend brings members together to celebrate traditions, spotlight students, explore new destinations and welcome new members. Our last OGS Weekend brought members together in June 2019 in Chicago.
OGS member belong to claghns determined by lifetime giving, which includes annual gifts, endowed gifts, pledges, matching gifts and planned gifts. To join OGS, a donor must have a lifetime giving of at least $25,000 or a one-time gift of $15,000. OGS claghns and giving levels follow.
